Chandra Lal Bhajjya Gurung

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Mr. Chandra Lal Bhajjya Gurung, a beloved Husband and father, and a humble, active community member. He was residing in Carlisle, PA. Chandra Lal was born in 1981 in Tangkully, Lalai block, Sharbang, Bhutan. He left Bhutan due to persecution and settled in Refugee Camp (Bel-II, B/1, Hut #89) in Nepal for several years before being resettled in the US. He passed away peacefully at his residence in Carlisle on 8/11/2026. He was living with his Brother Mr. Adi Bhajjya, nephew Mr. Bikash Bhajjya and Khina Gurung. Late Mr. Chandra Lal is survived by his two children- Meera Bhajjya Gurung (daughter) and Sailesh Bhajjya Gurung (son), and his mother Buddhi Bhajjya-mom, and five brothers and three sisters. His father was late Man Bir Bhajjya. Cultural rituals will be carried out after the funeral at 238 parkway drive, Mt Holy Spring, PA, 17065.
